Some astronomical objects appear completely different when they are viewed at different light wavelengths. Although it is not surprising for an objectΓÇÖs gamma ray emission to be unlike its visible emission, one might assume that more closely related wavelengths would yield similar effects. Yet infrared light images often vary considerably from their visible light counterparts.
